Commercial solar system project completed at ACA Threads, Cape Town

In our constant quest to supply energy effectively and efficiently, Soventix is proud to announce that we have completed our latest large scale outdoor PV system at ACA Threads in Brackenfell, Cape Town. This high output energy system supplies the local sewing thread manufacturers with a 131.04 kilowatt-peak (kWp).

ACA Threads, which forms part of the international ACA Group, took the first step towards green living, implementing a significant recycling project a few years back. Soventix was more than happy to aid them in the next step, playing a vital role in the large scale solar panel installation process. We are glad to add ACA Threads to our extensive list of South African solar projects.

About the ACA Threads Solar Power Project

The ACA Threads photovoltaic (PV) system, completed November 2015, boasts a 131.04 kWp. With Canadian Solar 260W modules and an ABB TRIO-27.6-TL inverter, this large scale outdoor PV system assists in stamping solar power Cape Town on the map.

Through successful solar power project development and financing we aim to promote efficient energy use, fuelling the countrywide effort to reduce electricity demand.

Here’s an easy-to-read technical summary of our completed ACA Threads Solar Power Project:
